About Me

    I’m a 2D character artist and illustrator, working both traditionally and with digital software. After receiving an AFA in Studio Art in early 2024, I’m currently studying to earn my BFA in Illustration in 2026. As an artist, my work primarily deals with illustrating surreal worlds in a painterly style. I enjoy creating personal connections with the viewers of my work through societal topics, including race, sexuality, gender identity, culture, politics, and others. 
   I produce these themes through fantastical characters and stories, with the intention of making intense topics more digestible by expressing them through otherworldly fiction. By using this form of storytelling to express these topics, I can not only reach viewers that would otherwise be uninterested in learning about them, but I can also create safe spaces for those that were interested already. I think that this form of expression and unification through creativity has the potential to build a better world for our future.
   My future aspirations for my work are to create stories of different mediums that fulfill the goal of bringing communities together through a shared love of creation, with projects made by creators and for creators.
